Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I am Victor Liu, a third-year student in our faculty and major in Econ. Since the Corona, I haven't came back to Canada this term and unfortunately only have 2 courses this term due to time conflict. And we can only select our major department course priority, but I only got 4 (2 have enrolled and 2 are in waitting list) because our courses are so popular and limit position. Unfortunately, the 2 in waitting list were finally not enrolled, that is the reasong why I only get 2 course this term...... In order to graduate as normal, I want to take course outside Queens during the winter break, which need to apply ilop and the appeal decision from our faculty.
The reason why I don't take these courses in Queens is: first, like I mentioned above I already had 2 courses in my waiting list even one of them is my core, meanwhile, my waiting list position are not bad, one in position 1 and the other in position 5. I expected they could be enrolled in however its failed, and you know when we reseve the notice we were failed, the enroll time was closed. Second, I was willing to add courses other than my major, like franch or cs, but you know, as the third year student, we were in third order to add and enroll our course, however, the courses we want to enroll are popular for all level student. When we tried to enroll the courses, the solus system just showed the class was closed or they said these courses are provide for someone demand more in their major. The rest of courses are hard for me, for example, how can a student in Econ to interested in learning astronomy.
Since the Corona, I haven't come back and in China now. I need to overcome the 12-hours time diff to study. It is hard time for me for every student. So I really want to take some course in my time zone and graduate as normal.
The courses I want to take are two 100 level language courses and one 200level Econ course, all as my elective credits to support my graduate. I have sent the course outline to our department to have a look, however, they have not replid me yet. All of these course are provide in NANCHANG UNIVERSITY in China. These courses are permitted by our Queens international Programs Office in the past.
