Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Dear Associate Dean,

I am writing this appeal because I would like to drop CHEM 212 class and take it in the summer or later years. This course was a struggle for me for the first part of the semester but I tried to stick with it and finish but there was a lot of issues with my lab partner and the lab section of the course.
We had to complete lab reports together and there was lots of conflict between the two of us. We just got our marks back yesterday for your our first two lab reports and there was problems with them and they both need to be re written in order to pass the course.
I believe that it would be best for me if I was able to drop this class for this semester and take this class or another Chemistry 200 class either during this summer semester or in the next two years.
