Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,
My name is Madeline Bertoia and I am in third year Con-Ed. I am writing to appeal my course: ENG 223. I am really struggling in this course and it seems that no matter what I do or how much time and energy I commit to this class, I cannot bring my grades up. The effect that this course has had on me is very negative. I am constantly thinking about how I can boost my grade and it is taking focus away from my other courses. The stress from this course is also affecting my sleep and overall mood and the last couple of weeks I have been completely burned out from focusing on this course. Since English is my teachable, a bad mark in this class could be detrimental to my degree plan. I take full responsibility for my schooling and my grades, but this class has truly left me stumped. I would really appreciate being able to drop this course so I can focus on my other 5 courses going into exam time. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.
