Petition Letter: I know is really late to drop a course, but I really need to drop HIST 104, this year is a tough year for all of us, because of the online education I can stay with my family in China, and at the start of the fall term, I meet different kind of problem, because I don¿¿t need to go to school any more, my mother(my father is been retention in Russian because of the COVID-19) decide move to place near my sister¿¿s school. So the first month of fall term I had been working on moving furniture, looking for the renting apartment. At the same time she force me to get driver's license(Chinese drive license is harder than Canadian). After all these things finished, I had to doing the work at the late night and sleep at day time to follow the Kingston¿¿s time. But that makes caused my mother's displeasure, she feel I to lazy at home, she just saw me sleep all the day time, so she force me again to find a part time job to do. So I start working from 5:00pm to 9:00pm in a restaurant. And by my mother¿¿s suspicious nature, she is always suspect me did I really got a university offer and pass the driving test. That makes me really fidgety and sad all the time. In this kind of state of confusion, I mess up the work for the different class. I totally choose 4 course in this term, HIST104, LLCU111, FILM110 and DEVS100. Because these course¿¿s similarity of course content are all the about the indigenous people, discrimination and colonialism, so it becomes more confusing for me when I trying remember the class content. And by the different of class homework and quiz¿¿s due date(other class is week by week, hist is two week once time), I miss all the work and assignment. By this situation, I really want to drop the HIST104.
