Petition Letter

Petition Letter: For the past two years I have been met with a lot of unfortunate situation that have created barrier for me. Therefore, I am appeal to have WRIT 265 to be dropped from my transcript without any academic penalties. My fall semester of this year is by far the hardest. I have been going through unimaginable pain due to three back to back accidents in the past 2 years. This has made it hard for me to complete courses. Thankfully, I am being accommodated but this semester the accommodation wasnt enough. This is because I had a mental break down. I had panic and anxiety attacks. This made me unable to think and bring me to a state of confusion. In my personal life i am going through a divorce and child custody battle which has taken a horrid toll on me. My child and i have also lost an important figure in our lives recently. These are all the extenuating circumstances that have prevented me from doing my best this semester. I have tried and negotiated with the professor but she says i haven¿¿t done enough assignment to get an incomplete. Finishing this course is my dream as it is the only course between me and my degree. I would therefore welcome the idea if you can ask the professor to give me until end of December to complete this course before considering to grant my request. I am currently getting the care i need. My academic advisor Monique Dube has all my medical letter to support my claim.

Thanks for understanding,

Camillio Senior
