Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I was given a mark of zero because my TA believed that I had copied off of someone else's work. According to turn-it-in, my results section had 48 percent similarity with another student. This is true, me and the other student have the same exact information written down. This is because, as per the instructions for Lab 3, we are to include all questions and answers. I along with many other students interpreted this as including all the questions and answers from the online lab simulation that we completed. As we all completed the exact same simulation that has the exact same questions and answers, our result sections will be identical. I even cited the questions and answers to indicate that I got it all from the lab simulation.
