Petition Letter
Petition Letter: To whom this may concern,
My name is Alexandre Montoya (20078319), and I am a fourth year student in Applied Economics.
I am submitting this appeal because I believe an error was made in the grading of my final exam. I was told by the instructor (Professor Long) that I received a grade of 53 on my final exam grade, but this simply does not make sense considering both the grades I have received in the class (93 midterm, 75 term paper), and my overall body of work (Honour's list student three years in a row). I have always felt highly confident in my general understanding of the course material, and I maintain my belief that my final exam was of great quality. I believe that an objective review of my final exam conducted by an unbiased third party would reveal that it in no way deserved a grade of 53.
I would be happy to provide proof of my work in the class or even discuss my understanding of the course material with whomever is put in charge of overseeing my appeal request.
Kind Regards,
Alexandre Montoya
