Petition Letter: To Whom I May Concern,
My name is Chuwei He, student number 20055853. I am writing this appeal, to request for enrollment of the course CLST 200 for Winter 2021. Due to mistakenly thought that I have enough credit for graduation, hence I dropped it on January 23rd. However, as I checked my advisement report today, I suddenly realised that I counted my retake courses as one of my overall credits, resulting in a 3-unit gap. Therefore, I appeal to you to request your kind understanding of the course's enrollment that allows my proper graduation this year, preventing my application to higher education without disruption.
Furthermore, I have noticed that the course may have a timetable conflict with my course IDIS 302, instructed by Professor Audrey Kobayashi. However, IDIS 302 offers asynchronous sessions, with all course materials are provided on Onq weekly, which allows my attendance to CLST 200 without having time conflict.
My deepest apologies for any violation of regulation regarding the deadline of course enrollment. I sincerely hope you may allow me to enrol this course as soon as possible.

Academic Plan: To Whom I May Concern,
As a student who has taken six courses in the previous term, I am confident in taking six courses for this term. However, I am currently taking two 400-level course and three 300-level courses, meaning a high course load for this semester. However, CLST 200 is a second-year course which will not increase my existing course load greatly. Meanwhile, I have achieved an average of 4.1/4.3 GPA in Classics for my past three years at Queen's University and a 4.3/4.3 GPA for my CLST 200, instructed by Professor Jan-Mathieu Carbon. Therefore, I am confident about my academic knowledge and ability to achieve a satisfactory grade in this course offered by the same instructor.
To accomplish my goal of achieving a satisfying grade for the semester. First, I will study CLST 200 during the whole Sunday; with the rest of the week learning in other subjects. For Sunday morning, I will begin the listening of recorded sessions, and I shall proceed to the readings in the afternoon, leaving the rest of the day to reflect upon the given course material.
However, during this term, difficulties focus on the materials at home due to the leisure environment; challenges in balancing my course load as I am studying six courses for this term trouble me. For the mentioned challenges, I will go to the local library to learn to avoid the possibility of feeling leisure and possible result of being lazy toward study; and I will balance my course-load through carefully design my weekly schedule while planning the progress of each course per week to maximise my efficiency.
The mentioned challenges are not fresh to me, as I have encountered each of the problems during my years at Queen's with the mentioned solutions to solve the issues that I feel strongly confident.
