Petition Letter: Hi. I want to switch from socy 309 to socy 300. I was in the waitlist of socy 300 and I kept checking my waitlist position every day. On the last day (Friday, Jan 22nd), there were finally three available seats but I found out that I could not enroll it because of the time conflict between socy 300 and socy 430. If I dropped socy 309 directly, there would be only two courses on my solus so decided not to drop first but sent emails to solus and my department asking for help to swap. I understand that it is now late to make changes. However, everything happened on the last day which was completely out of my control and it was difficult to receive a reply from the office immediately on Friday. Therefore, I am now appealing to switch from socy 309 to socy 300, which is a course I have been waiting for so long to get into.
