Petition Letter
Petition Letter: As per the email I received from Professor Ian Cromb today discussing an issue with registration within a second year course due to the sudden cancellation of the course and passing of the instructor, he instructed that I submit an appeal to maintain full time status. In this email, Professor Cromb instructed that request to be added into ECON239 which would allow me for the removal of the upper year course, ECON391, which I was forced to enroll in to maintain my course load. As a second year student I felt that enrolling in a third year course surrounded by many upper students would be beyond my current ability.
Academic Plan
Academic Plan: I currently believe that ECON391 which I am currently enrolled in will be detrimental to my academic success as a second year student as I do not believe I am prepared to take a course suited towards third year student. As ECON239 would be better suited for my current academic ability, I feel that swapping this course for ECON391 which I had enrolled in to maintain full time status would benefit my mental health as well as greatly assist in my overall GPA.
