Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Hi there, I have been ill since January 4th with multiple infections and am still getting treated for it. I wasn't sure as to the duration of my illness and I have been referred to a Infections and Disease specialist. I wasn't aware of the possible length of the illnesses until it was too late to drop without financial penalty. Losing that kind of money is a large blow for my family and me and this is already going to cause a delay in my studies. It is going to cost me more to take the extra year to complete my degree at a pace that suits me and that fits this delay. I need to pinch all the pennies if I hope to also afford grad school. I am currently getting some treatments for 2 infections yet they are still going to take about 2 weeks for recovery. This was all informed to me on an ER visit on the 23rd when all I thought I had was a strange viral infection.
