Petition Letter: I am writing this appeal because I am only enrolled in 3 courses for the winter term instead of the recommended 5 courses. Since the end of the fall 2020 semester, I had been waitlisted in 2 courses. After talking to an academic advisor, I was told that I should not drop the waitlisted class as I would most likely be taken into those courses. I never ended up getting into those classes so now I am only enrolled in 3 courses. I would like to be enrolled in AT LEAST 4 classes so that I would only have to take 1 course in the summer while I study for the MCAT. I hope that I will be able to be enrolled in this class as it would make my life a lot easier moving forward.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: I know that if I get enrolled in this class that I would be 2-3 weeks behind but I am a very hard-working individual and would be able to catch-up quickly and excel. I have shown in the past that I can achieve very high grades while taking 5 courses, so I believe that I will continue to excel while only taking 3 courses. I will make sure to spend a lot of my free time on the weekends, catching up on this course, and will seek out the professor and let him know that I joined late and ask him if he can help me in any way that he can.
