Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I'm QIYUSHEN SHI/ 20234936, a first-year international student studied at Queens University Kingston. I took the computer science class CISC 110 started in September 2020(fall). My instructor is Ms. Wendy Powley, I've been contacted her to review my final exam but she won't change anything but failed my final exam with 15/35 for 35 exam marks. After that Ms.Powley let me pass my course with a final overall grade of 50(D-), it's devastating for an international student like me to get that grade. It's been a challenging year for international students to study abroad, I have to go to class asynchronously in different time zone. Especially for computer science, it's a new way of learning for a student like me. I never took any computer science classes in my whole life, CISC 110 is the first-ever class I've taken. All the skills and methods I used in the final exam are learned directly from CISC 110.
The final exam is consistent with three questions, the majority of the questions are similar I used to do in my previous exercise/ assignment. I've done similar questions in my weekly assignments and submit to the professor and reviewed by the teaching team. I have a strong weekly assignment record with lots of As, which could've shown me I'm a highly engaged rate student that follows professors. The Board of appeal could've checked my record for it.
CISC 110 is a course that computer creative/element of computer design /animation/ program design. As goes down to specific into the exam question itself, the first question 1 indicated everything is required for getting full marks, question 1 does not require using specific method/ coding condition to draw the program. I've given 5 out of 10 for this question for not using the method teacher required to do, she points that out in the email and exam feedback. I do not accept this result as my final grade, it's not fair for me to take the result on my own for writing the correct program but unclear instruction causes the low mark. If the instruction was clear I wouldn't write the program in that way but using the method that requires. This belated action/ instruction is not acceptable for a student who learned everything from this class but the result was a failure. The following two exam questions were the same as required for similar actions that end up with a bad grade. They are similar to my old assignment, I use the same method to write my assignment to write my exam. The assignments result come back correct so I think It's correct to write it that way.
I'm here as a Queen's Student request the board of appeal to assign two instructors in the CS department to review my final exam, I'll provide the following proof to the board. My original instructor already reviewed my exam and does not change the grade, so I think there's a conflict between us so I hope two people besides her could've reviewed my exam again. My onq CISC 110 has already been logged out that I can not go back but there's more proof to indicate my grade/ record. Hope the board of appeal can make a fair judgement and give back the justice result.
