Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Due to the passing of my professor I was left with one fewer course. I was put on the waitlist for two other courses, where the professors where confident I would be able to get in as they stated I am hoping to take the whole waitlist. (I am happy to provide email proof if needed). However the following Saturday after the add/drop date I was told that they only took 4th year economics students that needed the courses to graduate. Therefore I was left with 4 courses when I had hoped to have a semester of 6 courses. I appealed French, and have been successful in completing/catching up with the work required. I am hoping now to re-take COMM 200, since I am unable to fill my course load due to the lack of courses offered/open during the time period. I noticed that COMM 200 is offered in the winter, and would benefit from re-taking it since I am not pleased with my mark. Since I have already taken it I am confident I will be able to catch up, and plan to dedicate this week and reading week towards doing so.
