Petition Letter

Petition Letter: I'd like to appeal to take four courses during the summer term in China. The reason for this is that I am currently behind credits for a third-year student and save money.

Due to Covid-19, my family is experiencing financial difficulties. I am only taking two courses this term to ease my family's financial burden, which leads me to not having enough credits as a third-year student. I want to use summertime in China to catch up on acedimc credits.

If I couldn't take four courses in the summer, I won't be able to graduate from Arts and Science on time (by four years). This will further lead to a delay in my graduation from the Education Department and affect my Practicum in the fifth year.

Therefore, I am appealing to take four courses in the summer rather than the two courses indicated on the International Letter of Permission.

Academic Plan

Academic Plan: I am appealing to take four courses in the summer to catch up on my credits, save money, and ensure that I can graduate on time for my both degrees (Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Education).
I am going to apply to Peking University and Fudan University to fulfil my four courses.
