Appeal Letter: Dear Board of Studies Team,

My name is Christine Mao, and I was recently diagnosed with Bipolar and Psychosis Disorder which has now been changed to Schizoaffective Disorder. This has been impairing my learning without me noticing or knowing what it was. I kept hearing voices in my head and talking to myself in my house. During the 2021 winter term, I was starting to display symptoms leading to psychosis in the winter of 2022. I am planning on switching my Bachelor of Arts Honours in Global Development Studies to Bachelor of Arts General instead, and pursuing online courses in a distant learning environment. To do that, I do need DEVS300, DEVS352, and DEVS306 dropped because not only did I have a mental illness that was holding me back to suceed in those courses, but also it will affect my future plans on pursuing distant learning.
