Petition Letter
Petition Letter: Dear Associate Dean,
My name is Isabel Fisher, and I am appealing for my PSYC 100 grade of F to be dropped from my transcript. In addition, I am requesting Credit Standing for CLST 103 and LLCU 111. I recognize that PSYC 100 is a full-year course and as such, I have provided sufficient documentation supporting for both semesters, which can apply to all grades being appealed. I request an appeal because I was diagnosed with major depression in June of 2018, just months before attending Queen¿¿s as a first-year student. I was not put on medication until August of 2018 not giving me sufficient time to work out which medication would be best for me before starting my first year. I was mentally unwell in my first year at Queen¿¿s due to major depression and adjustments to living away from home for the first time. Due to my mental illness, I was not able to excel in my studies.
Please consider approving my appeal.
Thank you,
Isabel Fisher
