Dear Dr. Jenn Stephenson

I am appealing to drop a course after the last official date for dropping classes (March 5,2021)
(Appeal on Matters Related of Section Academic Integrity 3.1.25.ii). The class I wish to drop is
BCHM 316; Metabolism. It is a core course and I will need to retake it.

I have been under the care of an intern from Hotel Dieu under the guidance of Dr. Yang for my ADHD . There has been a lapse in my biweekly follow at no fault of my own. Consequently the medications I was given in the past month were not working and my focus has failed.(medical documentation provided). I was not able to keep up with my workload. I thought I could be ready for this course but realized I was too far behind.

I hope you understand my ongoing issues and will let me drop BCHM 316 without academic penalty.. I have fallen too far behind to write exams receive an adequate mark in order to pass.
