My name is Xinyu Gao. I am an undergraduate student in Queen's and my major is Psychology. My student ID is 20014124. I am applying for drop the course PSYC399. Please take into consideration what I am going to talk about and allow me to drop this course.
I have received a surgery last semester. On October 13th, 2020, I was diagnosed with multiple endometrial polyps and was immediately admitted to the hospital since I had a high fever and dizziness. I underwent surgery on the next day and stayed in the hospital for recovery until October 22nd, 2020. On November 26th, 2020, I was admitted to the hospital again because of my anemia after receiving the surgery. Before receiving the surgery, I have had the anemia for a week because of the multiple endometrial polyp, it made me bleed for a long time. Since I had focused on study and worked so hard after receiving the surgery, I did not rest enough to recuperate my health. Therefore, my anemia had a relapse. Thereafter, I stayed in the hospital for another two weeks, and was discharged on December 6th, 2020. I had a subsequent visit to my doctor on April 1st, however, because in this semester I still worked hard and often sat up all night, the endometrial polyps began to recrudesce. Recently, I often feel that my lower abdomen is painful, maybe I have to take more rest to keep healthy. Because I have to focus on my final exam for the course ECON243, and the day of the final exam of PSCY399 is only one day later after the day of the final exam of ECON243, maybe I could not work for both exams at the same time, since I have to take more rest. Therefore, I choose to apply to drop the course PSYC399.
