Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I need to drop the course PHYS 321 because my score is not enough to pass this course. This course is too difficult for me and it harder than my imagination. I try my best to work on it the last time, but it doesn't have any enhancements. And because I am in China now, so every office time and discussion time do not work for me, also my laptop didn't work during half time of this term, so I cannot get the professor's email immediately. This course is not in my major's requirement course list, if I cannot drop it, I cannot graduate for next year, because it will reduce my GPA. My GPA just 1.6, because my score in this course is too low, I can't pass the course . I need to drop it to make sure I can take the course for the next seminar.
