Petition Letter

Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,
I am appealing the grade of my Assignment 1 - Writing a Catalogue Essay for ARTH 248, an assignment worth 20 percent of my grade. I received a 75 percent on my assignment, however, the inline feedback I was given indicated that there were minimal mistakes with my assignment. The feedback said that I was missing 3 commas, had one repetitive sentence, could have rephrased a sentence and to avoid the use of slashes. These were the only criticism given. The written feedback I received was as follows; Thank you. An interesting example of an object arising from interacting cultures. A few places which could use a comma are indicated. I do not understand why 25 percent was taken off of my grade for minor grammatical errors. I am appealing this grade as I do not believe it is an accurate representation of my work.
Sincerely,
Bronwyn Bates
