Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: My name is Ben Lederman (student number: 20104203) and I¿¿m a 3rd year student in the Psychology program. I took the ENIN 140 course with Sidneyeve Matrix and Shari Hughson this past fall term (September 2020-December 2020). I got an extension to submit one of my assignments until the end of the 2020 calendar year in December. I submitted the assignment by the deadline and Sidneyeve Matrix confirmed that she received my submission by email. The following February (2021) I checked in with Sidneyeve Matrix by email to see the status of my mark, to which she never replied. I subsequently sent her two more respectful emails approximately a week apart from each other asking about the status of my assignment, neither of which garnered replies from her. I¿¿ve been very distress as the assignment is worth 30 of my grade and it currently is not marked so it shows on my grade transcript that I finished with an F in the course when my grade prior to the assignment was no where near failing. I then emailed Shari Hughson to which I eventually received a slightly rude email telling me to ¿¿be patient¿. Fast forward to a week ago (April 18, 2021) and I sent a follow-up email to Sidneyeve Matrix and Shari Hughson as my assignment still has not been marked. After a week of no reply, I texted the number left by Shari Hughson to which she replied that she is no longer in charge of fall-term work and that it is all the responsibility of Sidneyeve Matrix. I then texted the number left by Professor Matrix and saw the ¿¿read¿ iMessage receipt showing that she saw my message but decided to ignore it. I am unsure as to why she has been ignoring me as I have been nothing but respectful. I am stressed about my assignment being marked on time as I don¿¿t¿¿ want a failing grade in the course that I do not deserve and I am unsure as to what the deadline is for submitting grades.
