Petition Letter
Petition Letter: To whom this may concern,
I would like to make this appeal to hopefully receive a (CR) in my PSYC 100 course for the fall/winter. This has been a challenging and an unusual year due to Covid-19, to say the least. Personally, I have found it extremely hard to concentrate from home (Hong Kong) and participate in class calls and discussions due to the time difference. I think this has had an effect on how well I was able to understand and apply certain concepts on both the Fall and Winter exams - this has reflected in my overall grade in the course (B-). While this may not be a bad grade to some people, the grade has severely hurt my GPA and my chances of getting the GPA required for admission to graduate school. I have put in the utmost effort in my courses this year but my final PSYC 100 grade has left me extremely disappointed. I hope that you understand my reason for appealing and can empathize with how mentally challenging this school year has been. Thank you for hearing me out.
Kind regards,
Connor
