Petition Letter: On May 15th, I found out that the place where I had been hired to work for the summer would be further reducing their hours, and would no longer be requiring my services. With this change in my plans, it opened up time for me to take classes. The timing was especially unfortunate as I found out just one day after the final day of registration for summer classes at Queens. Had I found out sooner, I would had signed up for classes prior to May 14th.
The bad timing of all this has put me in a tough spot where I am out of a job, and may potentially be unable to sign up for summer classes. I have looked for other jobs, and also looked at taking classes at other schools to see if I could sign up before their deadlines, but had no luck with either of those options.
I hope you can understand the situation I am in, and would greatly appreciate if you would let me take the courses I have applied for.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: Seeing as I am already two weeks behind on course work (the classes I am planning on taking are 6 weeks), I will have to put in extra time to ensure I can catch up. Fortunately, I will have lots of time in the coming weeks to achieve this and have no distractions around me as all my friends and housemates have gone home for the summer.
I am also only taking 3 courses, so this will be a lighter workload then usual, meaning I can put more focus into each course versus if I were taking 5 courses.
