Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Academic Plan: Since discovering this complication this morning, I have reached out to my academic advisor trying to find my options as well as the professor of the course itself seeing if there is anything I can get started on to ensure I don't fall behind if my appeal is granted. I have gained access to BIOL textbooks already online relating to this course to get me started. Since I am only taking a single other class this summer that overlaps, I am able to catch up with strong efforts. My commitment to excelling in this course is high, as evident in my efforts to get enrolled and started as soon as possible. I am willing to put in the effort and time to maintain a high level of learning in this course and be in constant communication with the professor to ensure that I don't miss any learning or deadlines that I may have already passed. I am confident in my ability to catch up within the next week and be back on track with the rest of the class starting in week 4. If there are any questions, please feel free to reach out.
