Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,
I tried to submit this application, but I don't think it worked, my apologies if I am submitting this twice. I would like to kindly request a regrade of my PSYC100 December exam to help towards a reconsideration of my application for the psychology major. My mark in psychology was just below the cutoff for getting into the major and getting into the psychology major was my goal when coming to Queen's university so this is very important to me.

I met with the Head TA to prepare for the April exam and asked for specific feedback on my December exam. During the meeting I asked about a question that I received 60 on and was told that I had hit all of the major points that the PSYC100 staff was looking for with that question. His only suggestion was to expand on one idea. I am confused as to how hitting all of the major points equates to receiving a 60 and would therefore like this question, as well as the rest of my exam to be relooked at.

As an extremely diligent and hardworking student who has received 91 and 92 in some of my other courses this year, I don't feel that this exam mark is a fair representations of the quality of my work.
