Petition Letter: Hello,
I had intended to complete my Bachelor of Science degree in biology as of April 2021 but was unsuccessful. I did not know that I did not have the required number of courses to finish my degree until after the add deadline for the summer semester. With the intention of completing the last courses I need for my degree this summer (total 6 units), I am asking to be added late to the Music 104 course. I have already been in contact with the professor and have obtained his permission to join the class late. I have an extensive background in music so I am likely to have no issues catching up with the rest of the class.

Academic Plan: I have completed all requirements for my bachelor of science degree except for 6 units from any Arts and Science course. I have a background in the content of the course and time in the next few weeks to commit to catching up with the rest of the students in the class.
