Petition Letter: Dear Associate Dean,
I am submitting an appeal to drop my summer course POLS 211 after the drop deadline. I thought the deadline to drop classes was June 7th, however after trying to remove my class on SOLUS today, I learned that I had missed the drop deadline by a few hours. I am currently in Kathmandu, Nepal, and therefore the time zone difference along with family related issues have made it incredibly difficult for me to juggle two summer classes at once, which is why I am hoping to drop this course. I acknowledge that I made a silly mistake in not double checking the correct deadline date, but I am hoping for leniency considering my circumstances and quick response to this issue.
