To Whom It May Concern,
I am submitting this appeal for a late drop in my Psychology 100 course, having failed due to missing too many labs.
As you will see in a supporting letter from my nephrologist, many significant (and unanticipated) hospitalizations beginning in September but lasting over both semesters put me in the position of missing the labs, not to mention the lack of energy and focus normally required to finish any assignments on time.
I have recently moved across the country and been hospitalized for going blind in one eye, making anything visual beyond challenging and ultimately accounting for this appeal being late as I have needed my partner¿¿s help in formulating my submission.
As my health and circumstances improve, I am aware of what I need to succeed in the future and would like to continue back next semester without a significant failed mark on my academic record. I would appreciate you taking my situation into consideration and giving me another chance.
