Petition Letter: I was previously enrolled in two July-August courses, MUSC 171 and CHEM 285. I was feeling very overwhelmed and anxious regarding CHEM 285, so I felt it best to drop MUSC 171 so I could focus full time on chemistry. Although CHEM 285 is not required for my degree plan, I was planning on taking it for postgraduate programs. I have recently been informed that I am no longer required to take CHEM 285 this summer, and as such I will be un-enrolling from it. I understand that I have missed the date to re-enrol in MUSC 171, but now that I am no longer taking CHEM 285 I was really hoping to take MUSC 171. My anxiety regarding July-August courses has decreased, and as such I am confident that I will be able to perform to the best of my ability.
Academic Plan
Academic Plan: My plan is to hopefully re-enrol in MUSC 171, and perform as best I can. As it is only week 2, I feel as though I will be able to quickly catchup to my classmates, and cover any work that I may have missed due to late enrolment. I have taken several summer courses in the past, and have had positive experiences with all of them so far.
