Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,

My name is Yichi Zhang, student number 20047634, I am appealing to CR MATH210 (Winter, 2021). From the beginning of April, I became really uncomfortable in China, but I didn??t take it serious, because from the past experience, I am very likely to get ill during that time. But it getting a lot worse in the next days. So I went to the hospital, and looking for some help. According to a series of tests. I had myocarditis, During that time it was hard for me to breath and it hurts when I breath, and I have no strength. So I have lived in hospital for 2 weeks. And after when I am start getting better, I am discharged from the hospital, and stay at home for about 2 weeks. I recovered at the beginning of May.

The reason why I have to CR this course is that: First, I am not good at math and prove, during math210, I have spent much more time than my other courses. But when I got ill, I really want to work hard on math210 but I have limited energy that I can??t spent all the time on math210. Second, my second term test(20%) for math210 was registered on April 16theven I got better on that time, I am still too weak to do an oral midterm. But before, I am not be able to review and prepare it well, so I got really bad sore on that, same for the quizzes and homework.

For my other courses, I think I am kind of good at CS compare to math. I don??t have to spent too much time on them. And also For CISC326, it has less work load after April and same for CISC365. There is a final in April for CISC360, I got 80%, compare to the previous grade in this course. I think I didn??t do well on the final exam.

For the future plan. I am fully recovered right now and I have two options, one is to take math310, and the other is to take math211, I prefer math211 more than math310, because math211 is more fundamental than math210 and math310 is third year course, it is harder than math210. So I am probably going to take math211.
