Petition Letter: Dear Officer,
Due to the ongoing COVID-19, it is quite difficult for me to travel to Canada to study, let alone my parents are very worried about me travelling abroad. Therefore, I'm planning to take the Independent Study Abroad Program at Beihang University in China in 2021 Fall term, and I've already been admitted to have in-person classes starting in September 6th.
I'd like to take the computing courses there because I plan to switch to COFI program next year, and Beihang's computing program has a very high reputation in China and around the world. However, if I do not make it to switch to COFI, the courses I take can still be the electives of my current plan, and the experience at Beihang is forever a wonderful experience in my academic study life. I hope I could have a great learning experience at Beihang University and achieve academic success.
I would arrive back to Queen's in the winter term. I'd appreciate your help on granting my appeal.
