Petition Letter: Throughout the summer, I have been struggling with physical and psychological illnesses that I've never experienced before. I started a new medication in May. Ever since, I have been having reproductive system problems and depressive episodes, causing me to have extremely low energy and causing me a lot of pain. My doctor is unsure if they coincide. Still, she does suspect that I could be anemic, among other things. I have had my period three times for an unusual amount in July, which has caused me low energy. I am getting bloodwork in the next couple of weeks because we are still trying to figure out what is going on with my body. In July, the physical problems escalated, but they started in May; I am working with my doctor right now to get to the bottom of it. My parents are supporting me in starting therapy in the fall for the first time, hoping my mental health can get back to where I was. Because of all of these health problems, I could not finish the course and missed the drop-out deadline. I wish to have ARTH 120 dropped from my academic record.
