Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: HI,
I experienced some hard time due to the bereavement and its related anxiety and depression in winter term 2021. I've submitted the appeal to make my ECON 244 an incomplete grade and get the permission of the consideration during at the end of the winter term.

I thought I could back to normal and refocus on the missed course work after a short rest with the medical treatment, so I talked with my instructor of ECON 244 to let me made up the missed part by July.However I underestimated the influence of these mental illness, the symptoms recurred in that period and I was forced by my doctor to take a longer rest, so that I missed the agreed due date given prof Hageman.

After a longer rest, I have been prepared for a new start in the new term. At this time point, I noticed that I have the option to apply for an extension of the incomplete grades, instead of just repeating the course. so I made this appeal with the hope that I can be allowed to complete my econ 244 in the coming fall term with the new opened course.Hope that I can get the support and get ready for my graduation this term.

The new medical report can be provided as supplementary document.
