Petition Letter
Petition Letter: Gender studies is my minor, and in order to continue gender studies being my minor, I need to be GNDS 212 as a required course. I was originally in GNDS 212 and swapped it to be in GNDS 280 not remembering that GNDS 212 is a required course for my minor. I can no longer get back into GNDS 212 because it is one day past the deadline of being able to add courses into your schedule on SOLUS.
Academic Plan
Academic Plan: My academic plan if granted my appeal: since I would be joining the class late this would require me to catch up on all missed work and readings. In order to transition back into the course smoothly and minimize my stress about this ordeal, since I have Fridays off in my schedule I would prioritize Friday as a day to catch up on all missed work from GNDS 212. Additionally, I will remember to not be too hard on myself and reassure myself in that fact that since I am coming back to the class a few weeks later it is okay to be behind in course work and readings and if I put in the hard work and manage my time efficiently it will all work out in the end and I will be able to catch up again.
