Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Hello I am asking for a course to be removed from my academic record so I can properly begin the interest studies with the goal of eventually transferring into a degree program.

In 2015 I was reading about my employer's education program and decided to apply for the course at Queen's expecting to have my employer cover the cost for the program. After completing the application the request was denied due to a lack of budget, due to my lack of familiarity with the process I then stopped pursuing the course I'd unwittingly registered for. I never participated in any classes and became aware of my mistake when I received a call from a collections agency.

I have checked with Arts & Science Online. There were not able to find any communication from me around this course. As well, the course was run on Moodle, and there is no longer access to check for course participation.

At this point my employer has approached me about covering the expenses for me to further my education and I would like to get started as soon as possible.
