Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Hello,

After the confusion this course may have caused with a vaccination appointment and not being able to get my final assignment marked, I found that it heavily impacted my grade and resulted in the fail. I understand the appeal afterwards as I must state, I do not usually ever hand in a focused assignment many days before as I like taking the time to work on it and hand it in nearing the deadline. It may have been unexpected along with how submitting the exam the next day was just a thing I did to at least have it on the records as I emailed the professor the same day asking if I could send it to him via email but he seemed confused and just lead me to academic consideration.


However, I feel it is best to have this course dropped now as I don't think something I tried validating and considering it being a music course and applying for graduate studies in UK would need an F on my GPA as it's totally blown it away. I feel confident that this fairness will be given and move on further with my studies.
