Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Hello,


This appeal is for MUSC 171 that I took this summer and yes it did have a long process of initially working through the delay in response for applying for CR or AER. I have been working through this course since then. I noticed that I was told in my denied appeal that I could have submitted the final exam assignment earlier but I rather approach it from utilizing as much time as I can and submit it nearing the deadline. With the vaccination issue on day of due date, I even emailed the professor later that day requesting if I could submit it to him via email. He seemed confused and just lead me to the academic consideration. I then as the appeal denial stated something else, I rather submitted it on the day after that just incase or for the potential record. It was not when I actually was submitting or that my vaccine appointment was to ignore.

With all fairness, I tried moving past the situation by enrolling into a different course this term. I do see that with much of my valid points on this music course, I want to drop the course. I do not see considering Music is not my pathway and someone who worked towards completing a psychology degree and applying for graduate studies, an F is not good at all. Also, along with considering a quiz that was not my fault as it did not show start now button etc.

I feel this is the best option. Thank you.
