Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Academic Plan: I am a Junior Chinese student studying in Queen's University, majoring in linguistics. So far, I have obtained 57 credits. Due to the epidemic, the selection of online courses has become limited, so I have only chosen four courses this semester. However, due to the distance teaching, I cannot keep up with the progress of one elective course and my team members cannot reply to our discussion in time. In order not to affect my final score and the progress of other team members, I chose to drop this optional course. However, as a junior student, based on the credits I have received so far, choosing three courses in one semester may affect my final graduation date. In order to make up for my dropped courses and not to waste the vacation time, I would like to apply for the option to choose three off-campus elective courses, namely 9.00 credits, during this winter vacation. If possible, I will make sure to study the following courses carefully and learn the off-campus courses during the winter vacation, hoping to be more efficient in the study and life of the senior year.
