Petition Letter
Petition Letter: I am appealing to drop the course ECON 112 after the course drop deadline.
My condition can be very unpredictable and unfortunately it has made it very difficult to do my school work while also taking care of my mental and physical health. I have been able to do some degree of school work when my condition allowed it this semester but unfortunately in the last few weeks my condition has made it excessively difficult to function in day-to-day life, let alone keep up to date with my school work. I have recently applied for a letter of academic consideration in order to extend some deadlines that were missed as a result of my condition flaring up. I have decided that my best course of action is to drop one of my courses in order to focus the remainder of my energy towards completing my other course.
Attached you will find the documentation I included in my appeal for academic consideration, I feel like it gives enough history and information to warrant it's usage here as well. If you require any more documentation I will be more than happy to obtain it for you.
