Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I recently experienced the loss of a close friend, which has impacted my academic performance. I have fallen behind in all my courses and do not believe I will be able to put my total effort into all of them before final exams. I think that lightening my course load will help me perform better in my other core courses.

My friend passed away on October 25th, 2021, and since then, I have been travelling to and from their funeral and visitation. I took a step back from my responsibilities and missed the November 1st deadline to drop a course. I ask for an expectation to be made for me, please.
