Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I would really like to drop this course because I have done very poorly on the midterm and at this point I would need to do really well on the exam to even get a C in the course. I wanted to drop the course before the deadline but my parents wanted me to just stay in it and do as good as possible but at this point I feel I need to get out of it so that my gpa is not affected. With basketball and other commitments outside of school I feel like my time management has been poor and this course suffered quite a lot. I will be taking it again next semester and plan on doing much better, I would just really like to be removed from it for this semester
