I reached out to an academic advisor about a month ago regarding dropping a class without an academic penalty and never received a response. I had intended on dropping a course, but I misunderstood the drop period without academic penalty and now I find myself in a dilemma. I have been treating a course in my schedule (GPHY 208) as if I had dropped it thinking that I still had time to drop the course without facing an academic penalty, but I now realize that I have missed that p??period. I need to drop this course, as I have not been participating in it, and I cannot afford to have this on my transcript. I am wondering what I can do to fix this mistake so that I can drop the course without facing an academic penalty. I understand that this is my mistake, and I should have been more attentive to the details of the add/drop timeline. Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to solve this problem.
