My name is Lauren Lewis, and I am a third-year student majoring in life sciences. I am submitting an appeal to the dean to request permission to take a leave of absence from Queen's so that I can study abroad at the Universitat Aut?noma de Barcelona in Spain this upcoming winter in Spain. I would be there from January 2022 until May 2022.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: Although I am a life sciences student, I am planning on only taking electives while studying abroad. I have reviewed by degree plan with the associate dean of the Life Sciences Department, and I was informed that I will remain on track with my degree and be ready graduate by the end of my fourth year. I have attached a letter from her to this application.
