Petition Letter: To whom it may concern:
Because the course is unreasonable, I hope to drop the course of IDIS 199 in Fall 2021 term.
Since the instructor's questions are different from those in the rubirc, I will have to drop this course. I have taken a total of five courses this semester. At present, my other four courses have maintained at least A- or above, because the content structure of other courses is clear, and students can easily understand the homework requirements. Especially for online students, it is most important to express their homework requirements clearly. The other courses' instructors' homework settings are exactly the same as the rubric. However, IDIS 199 has brought me great trouble. Every time I answer questions as required, the results are entirely inconsistent with the rubric. So I am very disappointed with this course. I must drop this course at the end.
I had never faced a situation like this before, which made it a difficult decision for me. Hopefully, I will be able to choose a better course next semester. I hope you will approve my request.
