Petition Letter: To the Associate Dean (Academic) Dr. Jenn Stephenson,
I am submitting an appeal of a grade received in my FREN219: Communication et Culture course, instructed by Professor St-Jacques. I received a 0% on the discussion post Conversation Culturelle 2 submitted September 26th, 2021, which would affect my final grade by 1%. This changed my final grade from a B+ to an A-.
I am unable to submit my original work for the discussion post for consideration as the portal and OnQ page has closed, and I no longer have access. I have contacted my instructor and the director of the course about this issue, but my instructor has not been responsive. The director of the course is unable to help me further. I did not notice that I did not receive a grade on this discussion post until marks for this course were finalized on December 27th, 2021. I am asking for a regrade on the discussion post titled Conversation Culturelle 2 as receiving a 0% has affected my grade by an entire letter grade.
