Petition Letter
Petition Letter: I appeal for taking more than 6 units in the 2022 Winter term outside of Queen's. Due to the global pandemic situation, I choose to stay home (in China) and take all the courses remotely in Fall and Winter. As a result, there are limited courses, especially my computing courses that I could take online. However, I am a computer science specialized student, so I have a lot of major courses required in my degree plan. In order to graduate on time, I found that I could take some of my major courses in a local university in China (Shanghai Jiao Tong University), so I applied for ILOP to take three of my major courses in SJTU in the Winter term so I could catch my degree plan and continue with the follow-on courses in Queen's in my 4th year.
Academic Plan
Academic Plan: I applied for ILOP and have gotten approved by the IPO office, and I also got permission from the School of Computing Undergraduate Chair to take three courses in SJTU in the Winter term. Therefore, I will take three Queen's courses which will all be fully online and three courses in SJTU (local university in China) in 2022 WInter.
