Petition Letter

Petition Letter: To Whom It May Concern,

I'm Heqin Ma majoring in Geography, and my Queen's Student ID is 20115952. As a junior, I have some reasons why I need to take winter-session courses at another institution during the Winter 2022. I'd like to make best use of my spare time to complete some courses and transfer the credits back to Queen's University, thus I can spare more time for planning my internships and my application for graduate studies. I guess I will get well prepared for my future plans if I could take more courses in my spare time and graduate earlier.
The host university is a Malaysian university, New Era University College (NEUC), and I'm planning to take three courses on a LOP during this Winter term. The courses I will take at the host university are:
GEO 230 Watershed Hydrology
JAPN 101 Introductory Japanese I
JAPN 102 Introductory Japanese II
which are respectively equivalent to Queen's University's:
GPHY 312/3.0 Watershed Hydrology
JAPN 100/6.0 Introductory Japanese I
I will contact my department to get a written permission and appeal to the Associate Dean (Studies).
Please kindly do me a favor to approve of my Letter of Permission.

Best Regards,
Heqin Ma

Academic Plan

Academic Plan: My academic plan for the coming semester is to take 3 courses, based on a sensible combination of required?and elective courses, as well as the class schedule. My course plan for the Winter 2022 semester are GPHY 319, GPHY 230, and GPHY 352. This semester's curriculum are?demanding, and I plan to balance my excellent GPA with pleasurable studying. As a result, in the course study plan, I will allocate time reasonably and evenly distribute the courses to each semester.
