Petition Letter: I am hoping to add the course PSYC221. I unfortunately missed the deadline to add a course. I am dropping another course that does not align with my academic interests, and I firmly believe that PSYC221 would be a great alternative for me and would align with my interests as well as contribute to my future career as a psychologist. The reason I did not make this switch earlier is that a family member of mine was unexpectedly sick with COVID during my first week of classes, so my decision making about my classes got delayed. I would really appreciate the opportunity to add PSYC221 to my repertoire.
Academic Plan
Academic Plan: If I become enrolled in this course, I plan to reach out to the Professor and inquire about any assignments or quizzes I may have missed in these first two weeks of school. I will make catching up to these assignments/quizzes my priority so that I do not fall behind in this course.
