Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,

I am writing this appeal letter in order to extend the date of enrolling in a half year course for the winter semester. About three weeks ago, I was trying to enroll in ANAT100, when I encounter a permission code to enroll in it. I then emailed the arts and science registration faculty for assistance when they told me I shouldn??t need a permission code and should be able to enroll in it. Upon opening this email, my wifi had been not working correctly, resulting in myself to see the email in my inbox about a week later. The circumstances regarding my wifi has also made it hard to experience clear and fluent zoom sessions, along with watching prerecorded lecture videos because they lag a lot. After more internet difficulties and in the process of searching for more half year courses that I was interested in and that worked within my time table (which was few), I tried to enroll in ANAT100. It told me it was too late to enroll in the course because I was two days late. Due to the circumstances of my wifi and the date to enroll in the course, I have missed the deadline to enroll in a 3.0 credit course which I need to fulfill for my credits this year. I understand that if I do not get granted an appeal, I will have to take a summer course instead, but ANAT100 is something I really want to take because I believe it will add value within my academic career plan. My internet situation is fixed now because my family added more GB to the plan in order to complete my multiple daily zoom calls. I assure you, this is a one time occurrence, and usually I am on point with deadlines within my courses and school.
